After their win over the Jazz on Saturday, the Sixers have officially achieved their first three game winning streak of the season. Feels good! After the Phillies disappointing playoff defeat, the Titans being terrible, and the Sixers stinking for awhile, watching your favorite team SUCCEED is such a fun feeling. Actually believing your team is a factor in the league is exciting. The Sixers are turning things around after now winning nine of twelve but sitting at a 12-17 record, they still have some work to do to just to get to .500. Sheesh, that early portion of the season was rough.

The Jazz really put up a fight last night too, they started hot and got out to a big early lead, but the Sixers responded well and did not fall victim to a trap game. They showed good mental toughness.

MAN the big three out there once again looked amazing! The Sixers have struggled to really find and keep a core of high caliber players around Embiid over the years and I often think the constant change is unwise but man, maybe JUST maybe the Sixers lucked themselves into something special finally. Embiid, Maxey, George. Caleb Martin and Guerschon Yabusele have been looking better. Reggie Jackson is finally showing how clutch he can be, carving out an oddly decent role for himself. Drummond's presence has been very good too at times. A genuinely mid-level very competent center. A rebound machine, in that category he's actually pretty elite.

There's a lot of examples all over this team of players shining in a more positive light now that the big three have actually been on the court more and more. The team's structure just feels way more clean and efficient.

The boys need to just keep stacking wins. The 76ers' final game of 2024 will take place tomorrow in Oregon to face the 11-20 Portland Trail Blazers. The Sixers feel like a whole new team right now but that being said, The Trail Blazers are the winners of two straight and only have one less win than the Sixers in the more challenging Western Conference. I'm intrigued to learn a little more about the Blazers tomorrow, just as a sports nerd.

Things are looking up, but there's plenty of work to do and drama to AVOID hopefully.
