Spotify really needs to improve in their shuffle game cause tell me how my playlist switched from a trap song to a gospel christian song! I'm christian though and I didn't find this offensive or annoying, it's just *I wanted to listen to something else". All in all, I'm grateful it did. It lead me to this amazing praise song. Normally, it's very difficult to come across christian music with rap in it. It's a very rare delicacy. I fell in love with this one though.
I'm getting ready by Tasha Cobbs Leonard ft Nicki Minaj is an amazing gospel song. Apparently, this song came out a long time ago,2017.I remember when I was younger right? The seniors in my school who were all over music mentioned Nicki Minaj being a gospel artist in the past. I didn't really care about it to bother checking it out or researching it. Seems they were right though and she sounds lovely in it. I love an artist with fire lyrics. When I listen to English music,I mean music I can read its lyrics, I always play it while staring at the lyric. I want to make sure I'm not listening to crap telling me to go and die or something. Her lyric game in the song was beautiful and not soft music game beautiful like ocean current's beautiful.
Tasha Cobbs Leonard,a gospel artist whose songs I've been listening to for six years and counting. She's an amazing artist. The pressure she gives in her music,like she's urging you to sing along,urging you to dance along,urging you to give praise also. It's beautiful cause indeed you feel moved,you feel moved from whatever bad feeling you had before,you feel better.
I'm getting ready is an incredible song and I'd recommend it for anyone who needs something religious to listen to. Something different but also with a mix of heavy beats and the rest.
