Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great. Today I want to share a portrait practice I just finished in semi-realistic style. I started by elaborating the sketch of the portrait, to which I then applied color, adding details and shadows. The total time it took me to complete this illustration was 6 hours.

To make this drawing, I first looked for a reference on Pinterest, which helped me to start the creative process. Below, I will show you several images that reflect the progress of this work.

Hola a todos, espero que estén muy bien. Hoy quiero compartir una práctica de retrato que acabo de terminar en estilo semirrealista. Comencé elaborando el boceto del retrato, al que posteriormente fui aplicando color, añadiendo detalles y sombras. El tiempo total que me llevó completar esta ilustración fue de 6 horas.

Process

I started with the sketch, drawing several guide lines to define the proper proportions. Once this initial phase was completed, I began to apply the character's skin color, using a variety of shades to add more details.
