Hello, Hivers!
Agnola is back again to share with you all my journey as a campus journalist and as a literary writer. It’s been 5 months since I joined the official publication of our school as a literary writer. I joined last September 12, 2023. I was hesitant to join tho because I don’t want to feel that I am again, pressured to fulfill the duty or to write even when I am not in my best mood. But things changed, there is something with writing that I can’t just turned my back, it keeps me pulling towards what I really want, what I really love.

TCS STAFFS UNITES for second sem planning

We planned to have a team building outside school but due to some personal reasons, the plan was cancelled. Last January 22 this year, we, at least, able to do what we have planned. The venue is at school, we brought foods to share and we talked about how to write news. We started with a prayer and then an opening speech from our Editor-in-Chief who’s dedication are beyond great for keeping and letting us feel that we are lucky and thankful for joining The City Smile and continue to live with our passion and at the same time, serving not only for our school but put our heart into service.
We made some games that we really enjoyed. The games we played helps us shaping and makes us understand the value of team work and how we value others opinions. We also learned how to or how we need to value every words, how expensive and how words and efforts matters. As a journalist and writer, we don’t always with our papers and pen, we sometimes enjoy being around with people who has the same passion and share ideas, great ideas for a whole new ideas. Also, it tested our patience, handling, and communication. We uses strategies and techniques as we along with the games and being active and same goes with enhancing our social skills.
A THREAD OF LIFE
In this activity, we are given a chance to speak up. For what are thankful for, how TCS helped us, and background story about our journey as a writer and a journalist.
I said, “ I was hesitant to join the TCS because I already have 4 organizations and clubs and I don’t know if I can handle it if I add another. I am also pressured by the sudden popped up message from Sir Dimco but then I am thankful because I am here today.”
I was able to hear the journey of other journalists too. I was amaze how some of them, that writing really changed their life and perspectives. Like me, I view world differently from others but one thing I am sure, I can’t be just a writer because I AM A WRITER and A JOURNALIST who inspires, inform and influences others to catch their dreams no matter what.
