So, the end is near. Both Joel and Ellie were taken to the hospital where the fireflies had their camp and lab. I thought Merlene died but she was there as well. Everything seemed fine at first till Merlene told Joel they'd have to sacrifice Ellie for the greater good.
Joel found himself on a hospital bed after the blackout and there was Merlene beside him. She apologized for the attack on him as the soldiers made the mistake without knowing him.
Merlene confirmed Ellie was okay and that she was brought back. Joel got up from the bed asking Merlene to let him see Ellie.
At first Merlene said he won't have to worry about Ellie but Joel said he'd cares for her. Then Merlene said Ellie was getting prepared for a surgery so he can't see her.
So, they were going to sacrifice Ellie for the vaccine and Joel can't do anything now as he didn't have his weapon and he was on gun point.

Merlene asked the guard to march Joel outside and ordered to shoot him if he tries anything. The firefly dude was marching Joel out but Joel stopped seeing his gears.

Joel took the gun of that man and started shooting in his d*** to know where the operating room was. The man said its on the top floor, far end after he already lost his most previous body part and then he got a bullet into his brain.
Hearing the gunshots, other soldiers in the hospital started searching the floor so Joel took cover after collecting his gear. I didn't want to play hide & seek with them as Ellie shouldn't have enough time for me to play around so I started shooting them.
Most/all of them were heavily armed so I had to be careful with them but still I did this dump move taking one of them down in stealth when there were more of them not far.
Noticing the dead body, they were coming towards me and I decided to make a good use of the flame gun after all as I understood this would be my last fight in this game. I started burning them alive who were thinking of slaughtering Ellie.
I got an assault rifle from them and I started using it against them. The rifle was powerful but it was not so easy controlling it.
They were in good numbers and they had orders to kill me on sight so I had to be careful being patient but I couldn't stay hidden for long as they were all around me so I had to open fire after all.
When I got sure that floor was clear, I gathered any loots I found around and then I was going towards the West Wing. I had to reach the top floor and then to Ellie anyhow.
