They say, if a new journey excites and scares you at the same time, go for it.
Writing has been my coping mechanism. Whatever I go through in life, whenever I like to share my thoughts and wherever I want to visit, writing will always be part of my life. But I kept them in my old notebooks and saved them on my digital notepad. I could not bring them out to the world nor share them with a friend. I was too shy and embarrassed, as I found writing a corny way to share thoughts.
This time, it's different. It's time to get out of the shell and show the world how I could be good at story-telling. Thanks to @charmingcherry for introducing me to this platform.
It was a long and challenging journey for her to persuade me to join her. I really had doubts, not that this platform would not be great, but if I could ever feel more open to sharing my writing with everyone. At the back of my head, why not give it a try?
Now, here we are, me introducing myself. Everyone, I am Moxie, a woman who finds great interest in writing poems and keeping journals of my thoughts and experiences. Here's some personal info about me that may be interesting to you as well.
I graduated from the same school as Cherry but in a different course. She was in Business Administration while I was in Education. We came from the same university (President Ramon Magsaysay State University) here in Zambales.
Currently, I am working as an Admin Staff in a cooperative. I have my desk where the battle of 8-hour jobs is happening.
Hmmm. What about my favorites?
I love coffee—who does not these days? I love making my coffee at home, but discovering cafes with unique flavors makes me feel the adrenaline and excitement of trying them. I promised myself to visit new cafes once in a while recently, another way of telling myself to live life to the fullest.
Whenever I visit a cafe, I make sure to capture a photo of something interesting, whether it's the murals, the cups, or the arrangement of the chairs and tables.
Oh, I love the sky and the clouds!
I have always been looking up when I am sad, happy, angry, or what mix of emotions I am feeling deep down. I always look up and see how the sky is waving it's hello to me. And everything in it is so perfect in my eyes-rainy, sunny, or the pastel-colored effect on a sunset. Everything is just lovely!
Something is comforting with the clouds formed up in the sky. It gives me a feeling of tranquility and calms my mind down. I even wrote poems about the sky and how I wanted to touch them.
Cherry asked me to answer a question as part of my introduction content. What am I expecting from the platform?
Of course, she already mentioned that the platform will give me a warm welcome and even give guidelines and tips on dos and don'ts. But my expectation is more on everyone's openness to sharing their opinions and thoughts on certain topics. I write a lot of life reflections and even share my stand on particular issues, and I would like to build a great engagement with them.
Hi, everyone. This is Moxie once again. It would be nice to get to know more bloggers from this platform, and I cannot wait to connect with you guys.
