The Cardinal Quarry (part 4) - Lightpainting on Hive

in voilk •  2 months ago

    Hi there,

Back to this location I visited first in January with my mate Flavien. At that time, we were not alone and we had to please everyone (that means not take too much time taking pictures during the trip).

For our second visit last week, just the two of us :) As we're on the same page, it's really convenient.

At the very end of the session, Flavien showed me this area full of grids. As we had to move, I made only a quick portrait of him before leaving the place (we almost get lost while looking for the entrance) :

    WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
