Esta es una excelente iniciativa tomando en cuenta que cada día es más difícil encontrar a un buen amigo o amiga. Muchas veces tenemos un buen amigo y lo perdemos por nuestra apatía. Otras veces, somos nosotros los que nos esforzamos por ser buenos amigos, pero sentimos que no lo valoran. Para comenzar debemos entender que la amistad, al igual que el amor, debe ser recíproco para que ambos puedan sacar lo mejor de esa relación. Si la amistad es recíproca, sincera y sacrificada, tenemos que cuidarla como lo haríamos con un valioso regalo.
La amistad más sincera que la vida me regaló es mi hermana. Hay hermanas que no son muy apegadas; sin embargo, para mí mi hermana es mi mejor amiga y he comprobado con los años que no tengo una amiga más dulce y leal que ella. Hace mis cargas más ligeras siempre que puede, y me escucha hablar del mismo tema mil veces si es necesario. No podría pedir nada diferente a ella.
Otra amistad que vale oro es la de Víctor y su esposa, dos seres maravillosos que me han tenido la paciencia de cristo. A lo largo de los años nuestra amistad ha pasado por muchas cosas y ha sobrevivido a todas ellas. Valoro mucho que hasta el día de hoy sigan brindándome su amistad y pueda tenerlos presente en mi vida.
No podría hablar de mejores amigos sin mencionar a mi pareja. Que tu pareja sea también tu mejor amigo es un lujo que pocos pueden presumir, pero es realmente maravilloso que sea tan natural que puedes hablar con la misma persona por horas y perder la noción del tiempo. Y es que ese amigo te conoce tan bien que puedes hablarle literalmente de cualquier tema extraño sin incomodarlo, preocuparlo y quedar como rara. Además, siempre es el más fiel cómplice, a él le puedo decir: “vámonos caminando de aquí a la luna” y me responde: “Dale, yo te acompaño”.
En lo personal no se me hace fácil hacer amigos, pues generalmente desconfío de todo el mundo. Sin embargo, entiendo la importancia de estar abierto a nuevas experiencias con personas que poco a poco resultan interesantes y con el tiempo se vuelven familia. Soy testigo que con el paso del tiempo, muchos amigos se van y hacen su vida lejos de nosotros, eso no significa que ya no sean nuestros amigos o que ya no puedan ayudarnos.
Pero es natural que necesitemos amigos que estén cerca de nosotros, que podamos ver y abrazar. Por eso, si nuestro mejor amigo o amiga ya no está cerca de nosotros como nos gustaría, deberíamos buscar otra persona que pueda escucharnos y entendernos. No tienen por qué ser iguales ni comparar a uno con otro, simplemente podemos ver lo bueno que cada uno tiene y sacarle el máximo provecho a eso, brindando de igual manera nuestra amistad.
Todos necesitamos y merecemos a un buen amigo. Valoremos nuestras más antiguas amistades y siempre estemos abiertos a conocer a nuevas. La vida es más bonita cuando tenemos con quién compartir los buenos y malos momentos.

This is an excellent initiative taking into account that every day it is more difficult to find a good friend. Many times we have a good friend and we lose him or her because of our apathy. Other times, we are the ones who make an effort to be good friends, but we feel that they do not value it. To begin with, we must understand that friendship, like love, must be reciprocal so that both can get the best out of the relationship. If the friendship is reciprocal, sincere and sacrificial, we have to take care of it as we would a precious gift.
The most sincere friendship that life has given me is my sister. There are sisters who are not very close; however, for me my sister is my best friend and I have found over the years that I have no sweeter and more loyal friend than her. She makes my burdens lighter whenever she can, and listens to me talk about the same subject a thousand times if necessary. I couldn't ask for anything different from her.
Another friendship that is worth gold is that of Victor and his wife, two wonderful beings who have had the patience of Christ for me. Over the years our friendship has gone through many things and has survived them all. I value very much that to this day they continue to give me their friendship and I can keep them present in my life.
I could not talk about best friends without mentioning my partner. That your partner is also your best friend is a luxury that few can boast, but it is really wonderful that it is so natural that you can talk to the same person for hours and lose track of time. And that friend knows you so well that you can literally talk to him/her about any strange subject without making him/her uncomfortable, worrying him/her and making him/her look weird. Besides, he is always the most faithful accomplice, I can say to him: "let's walk from here to the moon" and he answers me: "Come on, I'll go with you".
Personally, it is not easy for me to make friends, because I generally distrust everyone. However, I understand the importance of being open to new experiences with people that little by little become interesting and eventually become family. I am a witness that as time goes by, many friends leave and make their lives far away from us, that does not mean that they are no longer our friends or that they can no longer help us.
But it is natural that we need friends who are close to us, who we can see and embrace. So if our best friend is no longer close to us as we would like, we should look for another person who can listen to us and understand us. They don't have to be the same or compare one with the other, we can simply see the good that each one has and make the most of it, offering our friendship in the same way.
We all need and deserve a good friend. Let's value our oldest friendships and always be open to meet new ones. Life is more beautiful when we have someone to share good and bad times with.
