Hi chess(960) fans!
let´s play again some chess just for fun in order to warm up for the next season which will officially start on the 19th of April!
This Friday (Apr. 5) at the usual summer time there will be a Chess960 superblitz tournament for all Hivians!
OPEN TO ALL SKILL LEVELS. You just need a (free) Lichess-account and to join our team (password is "Hive"). 25% of the rewards of this post again go into the next season´s prize fund and 25% to the Hivechess HBD savings account on @chesspricepool!
The winner will receive 3 Hive right away powered up to his/her account, the second 2 and the third 1!
In addition every participant gets again a bonus point counting for the upcoming season 18 (if at least 5 games have been played)!
Mode: 3+0 (3 minutes per game, no increment), 60 min. chess960 arena with no streaks.

Tomorrow the Candidates Tournament 2024 will start in Toronto to decide who will be the new (classical) chess world champion challenger. This will be super interesting and for sure lots of high-level chess will be seen from these 8 candidates!
