It's been just a few days since I, @bitcoinman and @thebighigg created the latest Hive-Engine token, DUO. It's incredible to see the support from the community, and to say we're excited to see the project grow is an understatement!
For those who haven't heard of DUO yet, it does three things for anyone who stakes the token.
- Get paid daily Hive dividends (Final stages)
- Have one of your posts curated each day (Live)
- Tip others with DUO (Final stages)
Unlike other tokens that invest to bring in returns, our model is simple. 90% of all Hive brought in from other H-E tokens being sold, HBD, etc., will be paid out as dividends to those staking the token. Weekly power downs will be done on 90% of all HP from curation and posts, and paid back as Hive dividends.
We'll delegate 25% of the HP to the HOC (Hive Onboarding Committee) account, to provide separate curation and encouragement for new Hive users that we onboard. Other than that, all the Hive we bring in and power up remains in the account and grows.
While this project is still young, I foresee it becoming a very strong project in the future. Those who get in early will likely look back in a few years and be glad they bought it while it was cheap. So far, we've managed to power up over 1000 Hive, and begun curating the posts of some who've met the minimum staked amount.
