I am not much of a cook but I sure do like to eat! I have been changing up my eating patterns a lot recently, trying to eat less progressed foods and more naturally. I always knew I could be eating a lot better but was always on the go, busily doing things just opting for the cheap easy takeaway meals so I could get more done.
So previously my favorite meals would have just been any heavily loaded meat and carb dish, vegetables were just boring.
But now with a bit more time to shop and look around, I have been able to explore a few different options. Basically I would never have been seen dead at a hippy trendy vegan restaurant.
Probably the most interesting and different eating options was on our trip to Japan earlier this year.
Luckily we had a friend in Japan who was able to help translate and explain the menus.
Apprently sea weed is really good for you and things I had no idea what they were looked super heathy and did not taste half bad either.
Even breakfast at some of the bigger hotel seem to have everything, though I did still sneak in some potato chips and process meat patie on the right. The best thing I enjoyed about all this Japanese food was just the amount of different types of food available.
I definitely not a vegetarian but have been eating less meat and carbs and have been feeling and looking a lot better.
