Yesterday evening, my wife and I visited the site where we're planning to build our new house. You see, our current house will be affected by the Pan Borneo Highway project. It's such a mix of emotions—sadness, anger, and everything in between. After 11 years of living in our home, it's heartbreaking to think about it being torn down.
At the site, there’s a small pineapple patch. We found this tiny pineapple, about the size of a fist, and honestly, it looked so adorable. It was a little bright spot on an otherwise gloomy evening.
No matter what happens, we have to keep our spirits high and move forward. This little pineapple feels like a symbol of hope. Even when life turns everything upside down, something sweet and good can still grow.
