    Hello, gentle readers.

Hey, @restlessadvntr is back. Been away for a few days but I 'am back to share with you my great adventure. I can't wait to tell you the story on how I fell in love with this amazing Island.

    And now....

Here's the part 2 of my journey to Isla De Fuegos.

From Cebu Port 1 to Tagbilaran Bohol Journey. We hopped to Lite Shipping Vessel to send us to Siquijor but its route was Cebu-Tagbilaran-Siquijor-Plaridel. We enjoyed our journey when we passed by this newly constructed 3rd bridge within Cebu called CCLEX it awes us due to its massive structure.

    IMG_2065.jpeg
After a long hour of journey, we finally dropped by at Port of Tabilaran, Bohol. It was our first stop. We disembarked to this port to have our dinner.

    IMG_2062.jpeg

Upon disembarkation, I saw the sunset was stunning and I thought I need to have a photo of it. Clear pink skies.

    IMG_2074.jpeg

Finally, we're out of the port to look for a food to it luckily, we saw some BBQ stalls just a few walks from the port.

    IMG_2105.jpeg

Upon going back to the vessel, we saw a Bohol signage and we took the opportunity to have a photo of it because some people says that if you don't have a photo of the place, you never been there. So, here's the photo. 🤣

After a long hour of travel. It took us 10hrs to get to this port. The LARENA PORT of Siquijor and we finally made it. It was already almost 12 midnight thankfully we already booked a transportation bound to Cabal-asan, Maria where we stayed for a night.

    IMG_2119.jpeg

The following day due to boredom me and my cousin roam around Maria to see what's in the place. Typically, you can see plazas, churches, I mean old churches built a long time ago.

    IMG_2123.jpeg

    IMG_2130.jpeg

After church we saw a not so hidden beach and we try to go there and look at the view. Siquijor had so many hidden beaches not yet discovered by foreign or even locals.

    IMG_2498.jpeg

In the afternoon we decided to take a small tour at Lazi a town next to Maria. Since last year we never been to Hapitanan where you may feel like a wizard flying with a broom. Feeling like a student of Hogwarts from Harry Potter.

    IMG_2533.jpeg

After we dropped by at Lazi Church to give thanks and guidance through our entire journey or to our entire stayed at the Island.

On 1857 the church was built by the Augustinian Recoleto Priests.

    What's next in our itinerary?

And here's Tulapos Marine Protected Area, Barracuda Dive Spot.

    IMG_2660.jpeg

Photo-opt at the signage for proof. Proof of purchased. 🤣😂

    IMG_2787.jpeg
Feeling like a free diver. With me are the School of Barracudas. It was superb seeing them.

Dive buddies. Feeling okay but we are all exhausted due to the waves and the current. Were unable to dive deeply but maybe next year I'll be back and I will surely prepare for it.

    GPTempDownload.jpeg
After done diving a few steps from the shore our guides introduce us with these giant clamps, literally giants.

    GPTempDownload.jpeg

Does are my dive buddies. From left to right, Dave, Kyle, Gold, Me, Vance and one of our guides.

After we are done diving, we go back to our homestay to freshen up. After such the owner of the homestay told us that there was a hidden beach at the center of the forest. And I was never hesitant to go there alone. And look at that. That beautiful white sand, never been touched by foreign individuals. It was literally hidden. It was really a secluded beach.

    IMG_2828.jpeg

    IMG_2829.jpeg

Those trees were a passage going to the hidden beach and it was like a trail going to another world. And indeed, when you saw the untouched beauty of the beach it was like your being away for so long. Away for all the dramas in life.

    IMG_2836.jpeg

At around 3pm we decided to go to Paliton Beach a famous beach in Siquijor.

    IMG_2866.jpeg

Look at the sunset in Paliton Beach.

    IMG_2870.jpeg

That's me trying my best shot. 🤣😂 Feeling model. It was indeed an Isla de Fuegos or the Land of Fire. The sunset was so captivating.

    IMG_2877.jpeg

    IMG_2909.jpeg

That's me waiting for the sundown.

    IMG_3033.jpeg

After a long day of strolling the Island. We go to our friend’s house to have dinner and have drinking sessions.

    IMG_3039.jpeg

The siblings. Jari, Juan Pablo and Jing.

    IMG_3051.jpeg

Our chargeable barbie. 🤣 It was really fully charged that time because it’s party time. It was her forte. To groove and grind all night.

    IMG_3064.jpeg

    IMG_3067.jpeg

    IMG_3089.jpeg

The next morning, we go to Cambugahay Falls to let our companions experience what's really in Cambugahay Falls. And they really enjoyed their stay there because there’s a lot of activities on the area. Like hanging rope swing, water rafting and etc.

    IMG_3168.jpeg

Our last night at Cabal-asan, Maria. And we enjoyed our stay in there. That was our last disco during our stay at the Island and we really danced there like who cares they never knew us. 🤣

    IMG_3183.jpeg

Having our photo with the owner of the homestay. They really are accommodating.

    IMG_3200.jpeg

    IMG_3221.jpeg

    IMG_3202.jpeg

And now the bye bye part.

    Siquijor, Siquijor to Dumaguete City.

    IMG_3234.jpeg

    IMG_3239.jpeg

Finally we landed safely due to strong winds the waves are bigger. But we made it. Next is Sibulan to Liloan, Cebu. Then Liloan to South Bus Terminal Cebu City.

To wrapped up this experience I'll be leaving a quote.
