Hello my loving Asean Hive community,

Welcome to my new post. How are all my friends? I hope all is well. Today is Sunday, so what are you doing? Although March, April and May are school holidays in Myanmar, this year I am teaching refugee students during the summer. I have classes from Monday to Friday, so I'm busy on weekends.

Today, Sunday, I'm busy, so I'm going shopping with my friend. During this summer break, instead of being in the warm embrace of their parents, my students are separated from their parents in a convenient location due to politics. So my friend and I came up with the idea of creating something fun for our students to help them forget their trauma for a while. That's to give them toys as gifts. My friends and I are teenagers, so we can't afford a lot of money. So we chose a Chinese store to buy toys.

The area I live in is currently very difficult to travel to due to the political situation. Luckily, the town I live in is a border town. It shares a border with China. So, currently, food products and clothing can only be imported from China. The town I live in is a border town, so there are many Chinese stories in the city. My friend and I went to the Chinese story closest to my house.

My students are about 40 in total. All of them are boys and some are girls. My friend and I have only 200,000 Myanmar Kyats, 50 USD, so we can afford to buy enough materials.

My friend and I bought items together from Chinese stories that our students would like. Some of my students have run out of books and pencils. So I bought more books and pencils for them too.

The items shown above are all the items we bought. They include a toothbrush and toy, note book, hair clip, color pencil, cooking toys, and a pencil case.

My favorite is the capybaras diamond paint shown above. The capybara diamond paint box contains glue and plastic diamonds. The painting has numbers on it. You have to stick the plastic diamonds according to those numbers.

And we bought two bunny dolls and a Garfield doll.

We will randomly assign all of the above items to students through a lottery system. Above are some pictures I took today. That's all for today. Thank you very much for reading my post to the end. Have a nice day. Thank you. . . . 🍇
