I FEEL GUILTY.
Due to the hot weather, I gave in to the temptation this weekend. I bought strawberry ice cream and cocoflan ice cream, 1 liter each and I ate around 2 glasses and a round of Knicker Bocker.
I knew I would regret it but I did it anyway. Who could resist that cold and creamy sensation when the ice cream melts deliciously in your mouth?
Sometimes I blame my husband for giving in to my demands. He should have stopped me from buying ice cream but instead he said, "ikaw bahala." (up to you).
Ugh. I hate him. I guess he just wants ice cream too and just does not want to make it obvious.
Anyway, I needed to make amends and I need more steps to sweat the ice cream seeout from this body.
So, instead of targeting merely 5000 steps, I did more.
I go out from work an hour early than my husband so instead of waiting for him and doing nothing, I decided to make rounds of walking in the university campus. I started from the jeepney stop in front of the municipal hall.
I walked on the road outside the oval grounds as I watched the students go about with their activities. Some are practicing dances while others are doing their drills. Some are playing ball games while some are merely playing.
It must be nice to run on the tracks but I was wearing my office shoes so I just continued my walk to my husband's office.
I know it will take some time for me to lose this excess weight but I'm trying really hard.
For today's walk, I was targeting 10,000 steps but this is what I achieved so far. I'll try for a farther walk tomorrow. My goal is to lose weight. I'm starting with these small steps and someday soon, I'll get there.
This is a promise to myself.🤞
