This big cactus plant is just outside a hotel here in the resort of Varadero. It's supposed to have easly over a 100 years and should last even another 100 or more. In the area there is one considered a protected and "sacred" one as it has over 500 years. Its name Patriarca.So when Christopher Columbus landed in Cuba the cactus was a baby.
