When it comes to being obsessive about a celebrity, I am always going to be present.
Although, I am not the type that trips or tries so hard to take pictures with them. I see them as normal human beings just trying to make money by entertaining people and making them happy.
However, one usual thing I do when I am actually obsessed with any of them is to visit their Instagram page regularly to check if they have posted something for me to like and probably comment on. I am actually a lover of football, and I have loved watching it since childhood. Infact, most of the celebrities I have fallen in love with over the years are footballers, like Cristiano Ronaldo. I just love the fact that he is consistent and a very hardworking personality. Also, he is now older, but he’s still scoring goals and breaking a lot of records, which is unusual for people of his age in football.
That being said, yes, I love football and am obsessed with footballers, but none of them can replace the love i have for Jackie . My admiration for Jackie didn’t just start today; it goes way back, and it’s one of those things that has stuck with me since I was a kid. I’ve always loved watching his movies, and I still can’t stop recommending them to my friends. I remember back when we used DVDs, we would buy his movies in bulk and keep them at home, then watch them on the weekends. The truth is, I’m not only drawn to him because of how talented he is, but also because of how fun and full of life he is in every role.
What I love most about Jackie is the fact that so many of his stunts are real. Knowing that he was actually doing those jumps and crazy stunts wmade his films even more amazing to me.
I have alot of his movies that have been my favourite but the one that comes out on top for me is still the The Karate Kid. If you’ve seen it, i am sure you will definitely understand why. It’s one of those movies that really shaped my childhood, and it still sticks with me up till today.
Jackie is now older, but he’s still out there acting, and that just shows how tough, consistent, and hardworking he is. To be honest, I follow him on Instagram, even though he doesn’t post much about his personal life. I still keep up with his movies, and the last ones I watched were Ride On and Hidden Strike. Ride On was about him and his horse, while he acted in Hidden Strike with John Cena. Honestly, those movies were another great reminder of the passion and energy he puts into every role.
I once watched Jackie on Steve Harvey’s show, where he talked about all the injuries he’s sustained from acting over the years. He mentioned how many bones he’s broken doing stunts, and even that he has a hole in his head! That actually shocked me, and the crazy part was how he talked about it with a smile, laughing and joking like it was no big deal. He was making fun of himself, and the audience, along with Steve Harvey, couldn’t stop laughing.
That’s just who Jackie is—strong, dedicated, jovial, and always positive, no matter what. That’s a big part of why I’m so obsessed with him. He’s more than just an actor to me—he’s someone whose personality, resilience, and passion I truly cherish and admire. Jackie Chan will forever have a special place in my heart.
Thanks for reading.
