Dear mother,
I'm writing this letter to show how lucky and grateful I am to have you as my mother, you are such a blessing to me and my siblings, you are my backbone and a pillar that strengths me, you are so adorable, caring and God fearing, all have ever wanted is for God to keep you and also give you a long life.
Who am I without you, you perform the role of a mother and a father at once, you are one of the strongest women on earth, you are courageous, bold, and hardworking, I envy your uniqueness and the way you brought us to love one another is what baffles me till date.
You always make us settle our differences instantly and you make the younger ones respect the elders, the way you nurtured us with respect and taught us the culture, I'm always grateful to God because I did not have less.
Should I still talk about contented, Mum you know you are a disciplinarian, someone who will always talk with her eyes, and we already know what that means without saying a word, no-nonsense mama, upon all this you are still supportive, encouraging, and above all you correct us with love, you never choose any child over the other, the love is equal and massive.
If there is another life after this life I will make sure you are still my mother, a mother like you is rare, though I don't know how other people get familiar with their mother, our bond is stronger than an ionic bond, I rely on you for anything in this world and you have never for once disappoint me, a mother that everyone will love to have.
Some people pray for wealth, riches but I pray for you, I know you are one in a million, having you in my life is more than wealth, your love says it all, what is the usefulness of wealth without your blessings, without your prayers how can I manage all that?
Mum, you are my precious gift, my mirror, my confidant, the one I can boldly walk to and hug and she will pat me and say everything will be alright, you are the best shoulder I can cry on, you never make me remember those bad days because I have you in my life, what else can I ask from God because he has given me the best gift in the world.
Am sure you know you are my role model, you are my light in the darkness, my indicator, my first love, my best friend, and my best teacher, you make my roots stronger in terms of education, and I know you won't forget the way you teaches me after school those years, you teach with love and a bit of harshness.
I will be an ingrate if I fail to appreciate your love and kindness towards me, I learned a lot from you, you taught me how to be stronger and independent, I now take contented as my watchword, and I never allow anyone to oppress me with material things all because of what I learned from you, my mother my legacy, my rock, my everything, you deserve more than this and I'm sure this will make you smile and also bring out tear of joy from you.
I am happy because you raised a child like me and I have you as my mother, just sit back the best is yet to come, all those trips that I promised you, I would surely fulfill, all our outings and the enjoyment I promised you as well, you deserve to be called a mother in million times a day, you are the best and you will continue to be the best.
Staying far apart will never be a hindrance for me to show how grateful I am to have you, I'm sure this letter will get to you because am saving it for you till I see you.
I love you mama and I will always do, one thing I always pray for is that God should strengthen you and give you a long life to reap everything you sow, to eat the fruit of your labor, and also make you healthier and happy for the rest of your life.
