Today the word Tithe and it's meaning took me to a deeper level.
I know not all denomination in the body of christ practice titheing based on each and everyone's understanding about it.

I believe in Titheing and the blessings attached to it. According to (malachi 3:10 NIV ) which says Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
I have always been reminded about the power of Titheing ever since I could understand the word, but circumstances and trying to play I don't have enough have robbed me of so many blessing I know should have come my way before now.
Most persons have the mentality that money being given to the building and growth of the house of the Lord is for the pastors, please such mentality should be rebuked from our lives from today. We cannot serve God half way, we have to give him our all in other for him to shower his full blessings upon us.
Not having is different from having and not willing to give, for the Bible says, the Lord searches the heart. This can be demonstrated in the book of (mark 12:41-44) with the widowed humble offering.
Those who believe in Titheing should always make it their number one thing to do while any money comes into your hand. We forget Titheing does not necessarily mean money alone, it can be your first fruit, it can be anything you hold dearly.
If you present your all to God through Titheing, just wait and see how he will manifest him self to you, just as he has told us in the book of (Malachi 3:10)His promises are ever true.
Learn to obey the commandments of God as a believer, we cannot be look-warm in our fellowship with him. I am praying for his Grace upon us to continue to do his will.
Let's not allow the locust, the cankerworm, the caterpillar to eat what should be ours all because we do not obey his word. The devil always try to find loopholes to blame us and make us fill guilty.
Make it a conscious effort from today even as I also embark on this journey of Titheing with God so that our expectations will not be cutshort.
