The Royal Castle(Zamek Królewski) in Warsaw, Poland, if its walls could talk
In today's post I would like to remember the days I spent in the capital of Poland (Warsaw) sometime in early December last year.
Outside during the days there were negative temperatures but the beauty of the city made you forget about this aspect and it seemed that the atmosphere of the city attracted you even more to explore it.
Today we go together to visit the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the castle was opened for visits in 1984, I can say that it is a relatively young castle, its history starts a long time ago but it seems to have been destroyed several times (here you can find more information).
In the days I spent in Poland I noticed that the heritage in terms of castles is significant, I saw many castles or palaces all very beautiful and I am very glad that I had the opportunity to visit some of them.
From our accommodation to where we needed to go we used public transport, it works very well.
I must admit that we arrived here after walking around the city for a while and we were quite tired, we thought we would be able to rest a bit here, but it was not so at all, the royal palace is huge with many rooms where you can discover evidence of Polish history.
The price of an entrance ticket for an adult is 50 PLN (zlotys)/11,50euro and the visiting hours are daily from 10-5, remember that Mondays are closed.
Let's start exploring the Royal Castle to see what makes it so special.
Let's go inside.
The Royal Castle is very easy to visit with lots of information boards with what you will be able to see in the room you just entered, this aspect I liked very much even if I don't want to use an audio guide to know exactly what to look at.
If you want to delve even deeper into the history of the exhibits, you can get an audio guide, in which case you should give yourself more time for a visit here.
Like other castles I've visited, this one also valued attention to detail, lots of old items but very well displayed.
Our visit here lasted more than an hour and a half but I can honestly say it was money very well invested, I hope you who visit my post will enjoy what you could see here.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
