And it looks like more will be on the way, with this EVEN BIGGER event just now!
The biggest solar flare in a long time just erupted from the sun.
Any bigger and we are going to need more sunscreen!!
The intensity of the X5.8 flare makes the image all fuzzy like this.
As you can see, this X5.8 follows another X4.0 about six hours earlier.
Same region, if you look at the sunspot over the past few days it is a fury!
This was late on May 8th 2024
The sun is just so massive it is almost incomprehensible to see these images.
