It is not that often to see full rain/wet conditions at Monte Carlo Rallye. It is either snow or dry/damp conditions last few seasons because of the climate changes in the world.
Janner Rallye in Austria was full snow rally and because it's been run just after New Year's day, weather was very close to what should be at the start of January. Janner Rallye is great thing for testing purposes just before Monte Carlo Rallye.
But top works drivers like Elfyn Evans don't do these smaller events quite often (I think that Adrien Fourmaux did it recently and won it in Ford Fiesta Rally2) but it is nice to spectate on snow events.
Yeah, Elfyn Evans had full wet conditions on his test ahead of Monte but he didn't even think of lifting off. He pressed the pedal to the metal and it is joy to watch this kind of action.
