Give Children Games That Develop Imagination

All parents definitely want to have children who grow and develop healthily, intelligently, honestly and with noble character. But not all children are born as expected and this is caused by many factors, including genetic factors, nutritional factors and the environment in which the child grows and develops. There is a theory put forward by John Locke which says that all children are born like blank white paper. This theory is known as the Tabula Rasa Theory. In this theory, to fill empty paper or white paper, various ingredients are needed to make it colored. What color will be filled in on the blank paper is what will happen later. So, so that this blank paper or white paper has a positive color, we as parents must give it a positive color.

There are several ways that we can give positive color to children's growth and development through the world of play because we all know that a child's world is a world of play. From a link https://bebeclub.co.id/article/ibu-perlu-tahu/1-tahun/angkat-imajinasi-anak that I have read, it turns out that there are several games that can build imagination, namely:

    1. Give your child blank paper and let him draw anything according to his imagination. After the child has finished drawing, ask what he drew and ask the child to tell you about whatever he drew. Don't forget, after your child tells you about the picture, give him appreciation, for example displaying the picture in the living room.

    2. Invite your child to play in a park. If necessary, bring a mat so we can lie down together while looking at the clouds in the sky. Ask the child to tell about what he saw. Give a positive response to whatever is told, but if there is a story that is beyond reason, it must still be straightened out in a good way and not disappointing.

    3. Invite children to play roles. Determine in a game the child's role according to what he wants. Let the children talk about their roles while we clarify the function of the roles they play.

    4. Encourage children to play with objects that are favorite toys. Let the children tell stories using their favorite toys. Give positive feedback about the story, don't forget to give appreciation, for example by clapping or saying my child is really great.

Thank you to all friends who have stopped by my educational post this time, I hope this is useful and I wish you good luck, hopefully our children will become the children we want.
