Holo!
I started working on this piece last Sunday, and it took me a few days to complete it on and off. It took longer than usual because I'm experimenting with a new way of coloring and shading the character. It's quite challenging, but if I execute it well, the result will be something more realistic and with greater depth.
I've introduced a new brush type, which I used to add shadow and shine effects. I'm still practicing how to apply it to the character's face, but I've had better success using it on the fabric and metal materials of the healer's costume.
The only downside to this technique is that it requires a lot of time and effort, especially when it comes to blending colors, shading, and adding highlights.
Here's the outcome:
In case you're wondering, this artwork is part of a series of Holozing fan art that I've been working on recently. This piece is the third addition to the series, with the theme "Healers & Dragons." For this particular piece, I redesigned the healer's costume and transformed her into an elf. I think it was quite fun to transform her from human to an elf.
Let me show you how I came up with this piece:

Thank you for taking the time to explore this artwork and my creative process. I hope you enjoyed this piece as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life. Stay tuned for more additions to the Holozing series there’s so much more to come!
