I heard my mom so angry on a call today and after she ended the call, she couldn’t stop talking( you know African parents). It happened that a friend of hers called her crying about an issue. My mom isn’t one to share with things her friends tell her so I was surprised when she came to me very worried and explaining the whole issue to me.
I didn’t ask what exactly was happening but I later found out that the person’s son has been arrested all in the name of detty December. He went out and never came back until she got a call from the police station that her son was in police custody. He was arrested for drinking and driving and then crushing his car. I was sympathizing with him until I heard what exactly happened.
Ladies and gentlemen, he was coming from the club very drunk. Yeah, drunk! And on top of that, there were girls at the back seat….you know the vibes! And he almost killed another person. This is where it gets serious. The “another person” he almost killed was a policeman. Yes!
Also, he was busy doing videos while driving above speed limit. I know this might sound funny but I won’t be surprised of he was doing it to impress the girls.
He was stopped at the security checkpoint but he tried to speed off. I don’t have the details and according to what i was told, he almost knocked down a policeman. I’m actually glad nobody got hurt because imagine someone’s life being cut short all because of detty December.
He still hasn’t been bailed though. I’m guessing they need him to learn the hard way or his parents are still trying to gather whatever money is needed for him to be bailed out. But on a more serious note, imagine going to jail for 5 years or more just because you went out one December and tried to impress girls? Oh and I forgot to add that all the girls told the policemen they didnt even know him.
I’ve been writing a lot about detty December but I forgot to add that there’s more to life than all this detty December. Gen Zs should slow down. Most of these dd issues happening are from them. I see a lot of people trying so hard just to enjoy December and there’s nothing wrong with that but don’t do things you’ll regret. December is just another month and the enjoyment can always happen anytime.
