So we are in that time of the year where everyone is enjoying their holidays, people partying, other going out to visit their friends and family, some people are out there stacking more clothes and food for the celebrations of Christmas and new year. It's a very amazing time I must say. But for me I don't really have a stipulated time for my holiday, this is because of the nature of my business.

I am into customer relations (business relationships manager) and Agency Banking (Point of Sales business: a type of business of rendering financial services to the unBanked and the Under banked especially in the rural areas) The business such as agency banking requires, everyday services, everyone needs money everywhere, everyday and anytime too. Since banks are not readily available, we are the people's next stop for providing financial services.

Also as a Business relationship Manager, the primary job is to manage business owners who have some point of sales machines which I currently have more than of 500 people under my management)
So I have a lot of people who are always calling me for support on a particular issue or another, even if I am in church sometimes I don't really have a choice than to attend to them sometimes especially if it's an emergency.

I remember the other time I went to visit one of my Friend on Christmas day. Here is Nigerian we are fun people, we enjoy every bit of holiday we have, so during Christmas, families gather together to enjoy special time with each other, friends and family sometimes goes out partying too, so during that time I decided to visit one of my friend from another neighborhood, reaching there I saw many of people who came visiting too, just reaching his place my phone started ringing profusely, I tried to put It on silent but then I saw that the person calling was one of my regular customers, I hurriedly left the house because of the loud party noise came outside and then I picked his call, after several minutes of explaining his issue, one of his big customers came to make a withdrawal of five hundred thousand naira (#500,000) the network was so poor that the customer was debited but the particular transaction was a failed one, that customer has been on his neck because that money was supposed to be a money to buy the cow that was supposed to be used for New Year celebration.

I saw how critical the issue was, so I told him to hand the phone over to his customer, I spoke with that customer himself, calmed him down and reassured him, he would hopefully get the money before the new year event, after several talk, the customer finally calmed down and the tension was down, luckily for the customer the money reversed back to his account just a minute after our calls, it was just like a miracle because most of the time Error Debits occurs, reversals sometimes takes 7 working days.
My customer thanked me and even sent me five thousand Naira for my Help.

In conclusion, For me, work is an everyday thing, although I enjoyed the holiday season too.
