We are most definitely on the “Ring of Fire”!😮
On the Western side of the Mountain range, you just need to look a bit closer…………look under the moss!😇
Brilliant green boulders are everywhere……
In the forest they tend to blend in ………
Silvertop has one boulder the size of a Volkswagen Bug, in his forest!😳
“ Dad, I have access to a backhoe this weekend, do you want me to pick up that boulder and place it by your front door? “🤗
At the time, my oldest son Michael was just learning how to operate a backhoe…..………………….

One Spring chore, I didn’t expect when moving to the Northwest, was climbing up on the roof to sprinkle powered Zinc across the rooftop.
Zinc will kill moss that would otherwise compromise your roof, after only several years!😮
I even purchased “algae blocking” shingles………nope not enough!🙄
$75 dollars of Zinc and this chore is finished for the year!🤗
Maybe Silvertop needs to carry some powered Zinc on my hikes Lol!😇
I wonder if they sell this in 55 gallon drums Lol!😇🤣
Silvertop is headed uphill to enjoy the “greenery”!🤗
