This is the first time I've ever done one of these posts going into the new year.
In the next day or so, I'll go over my blockchain goals for the new year. The targets I want to hit etc. But I've never written down my spiritual goals at any point in my life. And seeing that every time / year I write goals down, I complete the majority of them, this is a no brainer.
I have a few ideas on how to approach 2025 and I am going to write them out here. As well as on paper to post in front of my computer to remind me every day! This is something different like I mentioned, so I'm excited to give it a try!
1. Read Through The Bible Again
We have a little community on both the blockchain and over on Discord. And in 2025 it will be the 3rd time we've read through the bible as a group. This is a pretty big deal for me personally as I make God a priority every day and read his word. So if that interests you, be sure to swing by the Discord channel or even start posting on the Kingdom community.
2. Commit To Memory
I saw a video on YouTube recently, about a 90-something year old follower of Christ who has read the bible over 1000 times in his lifetime. Not only is that incredibly impressive, what he also did was write down one verse a day from his readings. He put them in a journal and committed it to memory. That's a fantastic idea and I plan to implement it this year as well.
Every week I'll review my verses and work to memorize them. Keep them close to your heart, and God will never leave you. This is something I am really looking forward to it. But I need some prayers to make sure I keep on task lol
3. Daily Devotional With The Family
This is something I fail at miserably. And it's a habit I want to commit to this year. Spending the mornings and evenings in devotion with my family. Making sure we start the day off right with God. But also my wife and I plan on reading through the bible together in a planned devotion. So i'll be reading through the bible twice next year....If I stick with it lol
4. Weekly Sabbath School
I finally found a home church in the new town I'm living in, and each week at church we go through a bible study together. I have never completed an entire quarterly bible study, as I've never really had a church to commit to.
That changed this year :)
So I will be making sure to do my weekly bible studies with my church and dedicate the time to it every day.
5. Prayer. Lots of it!
This is a bit concerning and I'm not sure why this happened....But when I was in the world, I actually prioritized prayer in my life. Since I've been baptized, my prayer life has suffered. I really can't explain it, but in 2025 I want to make prayer a priority in my life.
I have a prayer journal set up and ready to rock starting today and this will help me keep on task.
So looking over I'll be having....
- 2 bible reading plans active
- 2 separate journals active as well

Hey if I don't invest in my spiritual journey, no one else will. So this is something I'm truly looking forward to. Combined with the fact I have some actual stability in my life, 2025 is setting up to be a big year!
