WOO - Thoughts on WWE Raw Before WrestleMania 40 - April 1st

Greetings, wrestling enthusiasts! As usual it's Tuesday and I'm here to share my thoughts on the latest episode of WWE Raw. Last night's episode was the final Raw episode before WrestleMania 40. Let's get started

To begin with, I was extremely excited about the fact that The Rock opened the show. Undoubtedly, a lot of people love him; don’t they?

For me, his vigor always puts me in high spirits despite having an overly long segment. Notwithstanding this fact, whenever The Rock talks you are compelled to listen and that is why Roman Reigns supporting him made him even more exciting.

I guess that match featuring The New Day vs DIY vs The Judgment Day was just okay. Nevertheless, it seemed hurriedly done.

Given its brevity though, I wasn’t really feeling it at all. However, this event left me filled with wonder as to what will happen with tag team belts at WrestleMania.

Next match was Sami Zayn against Bronson Reed. Well, I couldn’t wait to see this happen. Both wrestlers fought hard and the presence of Chad Gable enhanced the story line.

Then Gunther came out and all hell broke loose! Personally, I am curious about how this rivalry will unfold at WrestleMania.

The ladies tag team contest was so-so. It was awesome how Maxxine Dupri repaid Candice LeRae though. However, I can’t help but sense that something is amiss in their partnership after the standoff between LeRae and Indi Hartwell.

It is interesting to watch Ricochet vs Ivar match because i really enjoy ricochet’s aerial moves which were not disappointing too.

My heart goes out to ivar though however; he always falls short yet he packs a whole lot of power within him. This should change soon when he is given an opportunity to shine.

Becky Lynch’s promo was intense! It is my joy to see her highly pumped up, especially when she’s chasing after Rhea Ripley.

Their rivalry has been growing hotter, and I am eagerly looking forward to watching them destroy the ring at WrestleMania.

The six-woman tag team match was alright, but more like a gap-filler. However, I just wanted Bayley to be given something else to do. She is one of those I like most and it’s so unfair that she is being sidelined lately.

Lastly, we had the main event that was Seth Rollins vs. Solo Sikoa. The match itself was good but it was what happened afterwards that made it interesting.

I must say the assault of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins by Bloodline was brutal! This really set things up for their WrestleMania match. I just pray that Rhode and Rollins can recover from this and make bloodline work harder.

In general, I enjoyed watching this episode of Raw, although there were highs and lows.

To me, The Bloodline/Rhodes/Rollins storyline stole the show; however, I wish more attention was given to other matches and feuds leading into WrestleMania.

Let’s hope SmackDown has some surprises in store before the big night.
