Cuando se trata de animales de compañía, me gusta escribir y recordar cosas lindas y divertidas, pero, no siempre es así.
La vida de los animalitos comunitarios o en situación de calle es dura, hay personas que hacen lo posible por darles un poco de comida y curar alguna herida. Sin embargo, existen individuos que maltratan directa o indirectamente a éstas pobres criaturas.
Hace 6 años conocí a este pareja de perritos, en ese momento eran un trío y la perrita tenía alrededor de 15 días de haber dado a luz 13 cachorros, ella se notaba bastante alerta y agresiva pero con algunas personas (imagino la razón), la semana siguiente había una jornada de esterilización y reservé 3 cupos para ellos pero solo pude llevarla a ella junto con los cachorros, ya que al ser tan pequeños no los podía separar de su mamá, además del riesgo que corrían al quedar solos. Si recuperación fue complicada porque ella sufre de calor y se metía en aguas contaminadas para refrescarse, afortunadamente siempre se contó con el apoyo de alguien para curarla.
Antes mencioné que era un trío dos machos y una hembra, pasé varios años sin verlos y me sorprendió encontrar solo a los 2 mayores, el más joven ya había cruzado el arcoiris. Me entristeció mucho verlos en esas condiciones, se nota que las personas que se encargaban de atenderlos ya no están, pues ellos los bañaban, les inyectaban ivermectina y los alimentaban bastante bien.
El perrito marrón de las fotos lo llamaban Bobby, me parece que ya cruzó el arcoiris, pues, tengo 2 semanas sin verlo, ayer ví a la negra y como cosa extraña se me acercó para que le hiciera cariño, ella es bastante antipática y ayer no lo fue, es por ello que estoy casi segura de que Bobby ya no está y que ella en cualquier momento se nos va.
Me da mucha tristeza que hayan tenido la mala fortuna de llevar esa vida tan dura, y que no hayan podido conocer un verdadero hogar. Llenen de amor y cuidados a sus animalitos y si tienen la oportunidad de ayudar a alguno de la calle, sin importar la condición del animal háganlo, así sea hablarles bonito, ellos sufren cosas inimaginables y solo esperan un poco de cariño que lamentablemente pocas veces llega.

Fill your animals with love and care and if you have the opportunity to help one of the street, no matter the condition of the animal, do it, even if it means talking to them nicely, they suffer unimaginable things and they only wait for a little love that unfortunately rarely comes.
