El día de mi desfile de Carnaval mi familia fue a acompañarme y al terminar mi prima se ofreció a llevarnos a tomarnos unos batidos y conversar un rato pues teníamos mucho sin vernos.
Fuimos a uno cerca de la academia que se llama ''Frugooz'', es un negocio que vende batidos, helados, bebidas y fresas con crema.
El lugar es bastante lindo, tiene unos pinturas muy bonitas en las paredes, grama artificial y una iluminación muy linda.
Nos acercamos a ver el menú para saber que escoger.

The day of my Carnival parade my family came to accompany me and when it was over my cousin offered to take us to have some milkshakes and talk for a while because we hadn't seen each other for a long time.
We went to one near the academy called ‘'Frugooz’', it is a store that sells milkshakes, ice cream, drinks and strawberries with cream.
The place is quite nice, it has very nice paintings on the walls, artificial grass and very nice lighting.
We went over to look at the menu to see what to choose.
En el menú había mucha variedad de batidos. A mi me gustan mucho los sabores cítricos, me llamó la atención uno que se llamaba Mochima; era un frappé de fresa, limón, piña y pepino. Mi prima y yo pedimos ese.
Mi mama pidió uno llamado Roraima, era parecido pero no contenía pepino.
Mi prima Andrea pidió una fresa con crema, mi primito Josué David se pidió un frappe con gomitas igual que mi tía esperanza.
Mientras esperábamos nos sentamos en una mesa a conversar. Los batidos tardaron como 10 minutos en llegar.
On the menu there was a wide variety of milkshakes. I really like citrus flavors, and one called Mochima caught my attention; it was a strawberry, lemon, pineapple and cucumber frappé. My cousin and I ordered that one.
My mom ordered one called Roraima, it was similar but did not contain cucumber.
My cousin Andrea ordered a strawberry with cream, my little cousin Josué David ordered a frappe with gummies as did my aunt Esperanza.
While we waited, we sat at a table and talked. The milkshakes took about 10 minutes to arrive.
Conversamos de todo un poquito, de los trabajos, de la academia, de la familia, de la salud.
Cuando los batidos llegaron hicimos un brindis y nos tomamos algunas fotos. Obviamente pedimos probar de cada batido para dar opinión.
El mío estaba delicioso y súper refrescante, podías detectar todos los sabores, la fresa, el ácido del limón, la frescura del pepino y el sabor de la piña.
Lo único que cambiaría era la cantidad de ázucar, me pareció que era inmensamente dulce, pero, eso no le quitaba lo delicioso.
El de mi mamá también estaba muy bueno.
Seguimos conversando y riendo, la verdad, siempre lo digo y quizás algunos pensarán que no es así pero con mi familia la paso de maravilla. Siempre tenemos con que reírnos y sabemos disfrutar de la compañía del otro, por eso a veces siento que aunque tengo pocos amigos no me hacen falta más, las personas a mi alrededor son las que deben estar, mi familia me saca las risas necesarias y me hacen convivir momentos magníficos en su compañía y mis pocos amigos, hacen que mis días sean diferentes.
We talked about everything a little bit, jobs, academia, family, health.
When the smoothies arrived we had a toast and took some pictures. Obviously we asked to taste each smoothie to give our opinion.
Mine was delicious and super refreshing, you could detect all the flavors, the strawberry, the acid of the lemon, the freshness of the cucumber and the taste of the pineapple.
The only thing I would change was the amount of sugar, I thought it was immensely sweet, but, that didn't take away from the deliciousness.
My mom's was also very good.
We continued talking and laughing, the truth, I always say it and maybe some people think it is not so, but with my family I have a wonderful time. We always have something to laugh about and we know how to enjoy each other's company, that's why sometimes I feel that even though I have few friends I don't need more, the people around me are the ones who should be there, my family gives me the necessary laughs and makes me live magnificent moments in their company and my few friends make my days different.

Menos mal encontramos este lugar, porque habíamos ido a Sno, un nuevo lugar de cepillados en la ciudad pero estaba a reventar de personas y la verdad me sentí un poco incomoda al llegar pues mi mamá, mi primito y yo íbamos disfrazados y la gente nos miró súper feo.
Me apreció ridículo que nos miraran de esa forma porque para disfrazarse y disfrutar no hay edad y yo venía de mi academia, de disfrutar con mis alumnos que me pidieron que me disfrazara con ellos, pero, al momento las miradas me incomodaron.
En Frugooz no habían muchas personas así que podíamos hablar con tranquilidad.
Andrea me ofreció un poco de su fresa con crema porque no quería más e iba a guardarlas. Estaban bastante ricas, se parecían muchísimo a las que yo preparaba, fue ahí cuando me dijeron que debería volver a vender pues me quedaban muy buenas.
Thank goodness we found this place, because we had gone to Sno, a new brushing place in the city but it was full of people and the truth is that I felt a little uncomfortable when we arrived because my mom, my little cousin and I were dressed up and people looked at us super ugly.
I thought it was ridiculous that they looked at us that way because there is no age to dress up and enjoy and I was coming from my academy, to enjoy with my students who asked me to dress up with them, but, at the moment the looks made me uncomfortable.
In Frugooz there were not many people so we could talk in peace.
Andrea offered me some of her strawberry and cream because I didn't want any more and was going to keep them. They were quite tasty, they were very similar to the ones I used to prepare, that's when they told me that I should sell them again because they were very good.
Así fue como conocí un nuevo lugar en la ciudad que no había podido visitar, compartí con mi familia que tenía tiempo sin ver y cerré de una buena manera un exitoso desfile de Carnaval.
Agradezco infinitamente estos momentos, los momentos que realmente importan y que atesoramos toda la vida.
Siempre que puedo pasar un buen momento con mi familia no lo desecho por nada, nunca sabemos si ese será la última vez.

This is how I got to know a new place in the city that I had not been able to visit, I shared with my family that I had not seen for a long time and I closed a successful Carnival parade in a good way.
I am infinitely grateful for these moments, the moments that really matter and that we treasure for a lifetime.
Whenever I get to spend a good time with my family I don't throw it away for anything, we never know if that will be the last time.
