If you have observed the contents of our published blogs, most of them were about picnics and outdoor fun activities. But not every blog we publish is about them, since there are times when we have some errands to run or we must spend the day productively. In today's blog, let us highlight a few things and activities we accomplished for the #WednesdayWalk.
It was an ordinary morning when we realized that we had to go with our colleagues for a visitation on the Naval Training Center in town. We already took a shower and dressed up before we were picked up. The first errand that we had to do is go to this training center and conduct a quick visitation to observe the activities happening inside, and if possible, ask for the needed requirements to be apply as a trainee.
When we were already in the main gate of the training center, we had to write down our names on their log book and also include the purpose of our visitation. After several discussions with the security guards on duty, we were told what to do and not to when we are already inside, including the speed limit of the vehicle.
Upon entering the main gate, we were welcomed by the trees and a very huge training ground for the naval trainees. And we realized that they are really taking everything seriously out here. We talked to a senior trainor and asked for the requirements, and they provided a paper containing everything that a future trainee must have before being qualified to train here. After the quick conversation with them, they gave us some snacks that we ate inside the car since we had to go to our next location.
While enjoying the snacks we got in the car, we were already heading to our next stop, which is a beach resort. It only took us around 20 minutes even though there is no traffic in the national highway. It is because of the narrow streets we had to go through before getting into the place we are headed to. But one of the challenges we faced during this visitation is looking for the parking area.
After parking the car, we already started walking towards the beach resorts. We were welcomed by a very wonderful vibe presented by palm trees and greenery. Even through this is a beach or meaning to say just a few walks away from the ocean, there are tall trees around as well. And we loved the environment and ambiance in here.
As usual, there are restaurants and small cafes around where everyone can enjoy a good coffee or fill their tummies during lunch time. Also, most of the resorts offer several equipment for water activities, such as surf boards.
We did not capture more photos inside the resorts since we got busy talking to the owners and having good conversations with them. But when we were already heading back home, we decided to order and grab some pizza as our snack. It was indeed a tiring yet productive walk, but having slices of pizza at the end of the day made it worth it.
