¡Hola a todos los amantes de las manualidades! Desde hace mucho tiempo me he involucrado mucho en éste proyecto personal de buscar hacer el modelo de chimuelo en peluche más adorable y que contenga los detalles que para mí percepción son propios de esta figura de dragón que ha hecho su propia fama.

A primera vista, al buscar en Google imágenes muestran varios modelos. Pero no me hacen sentir conforme. Ésta inconformidad me motivó a probar mis propias habilidades y me atreví a hacer un peluche de éste dragón.
)Amé materializar este proyecto tan personal de darle existencia a el peluche de furia nocturna, bien conocido como chimuelo. Allí me acompaña mientras doy creación a un nuevo peluche.

)Tomé la dedicación de cortar en papel todas las piezas que debo cortar en la tela, incluyendo sus piezas dobles, a eso me refiero con todas. ¡Que suerte, me da la tela para hacer 2 peluches! Valió la pena el esmero. Fue más dedicación pero me ayudó a ver qué tanto podía aprovechar la cantidad de material que tenía a la mano.
Aquí sólo mostraré el proceso de un solo peluche, eso debido a que es costura a mano.🧵 🪡
)Desde que se ven las piezas de tela ordenadas, se puede visualizar una linda silueta de dragón.
)Parte de este nuevo modelo es ponerle más atención a los pequeños detalles. Ya saben, buscando lo más minucioso a lo que yo deseo que sea éste icónico dragón.
)¿Qué quería cambiar de mi antiguo modelo?
Tener más escamas, empezando por su cabeza, y que en su espaldar se pudiera apreciar una secuencia de triángulos que disminuyen su tamaño hasta finalizar en la cola.
Que sus garras fueran 4 y no 3. Al mismo tiempo darle una vista más llamativas.
)Estamos comenzando y va quedando muy bien. Éste modelo es un poco más pequeño que el peluche que me acompaña en las fotos. Así que también me tocó ajustar el tamaño del ojo modelo... Así comenzó todo, en dibujo, tantos años de niña viendo hacer patrones a mi mamá y practicar distintos modelos me permitió adueñar el conocimiento. Claro, la práctica nunca falta.
)En cada peluche tardo un promedio de 1 semana o 2 en hacerlo. De verdad que cuando comienzo, busco dentro de mí el impulso para terminar. Todo el peluche es cocido a mano, al igual que el bordado de los ojos.
)Me gusta usar mi camisa bordada a la hora de hacer un bordado o costura. Me da ánimo 💪🏻. Es como si mi yo del pasado me esté motivando con la demostración de lo materializado.
)Se ve adorable aún sin sus piernas. Pero ya es momento de cocerlas.
)Siempre que le doy un avance, trato que sea de día, desde muy pequeña sé que no es bueno forzar la vista a la hora de coser en material negro. E incluso de día, es importante darse una pausa para evitar forzar la vista.
Es gratificante ver el resultado final de todo el esfuerzo. Me alegra mucho poder hacerlo y poder compartirlo con todos ustedes que se interesaron en ver éste proyecto.

Hello to all craft lovers! For a long time now I have been very involved in this personal project of trying to make the most adorable stuffed toy model of chimuelo that contains the details that for me are characteristic of this dragon figure that has made its own fame.

At first glance, Google images show several models. But they do not make me feel satisfied. This nonconformity motivated me to try my own skills and I dared to make a plush of this dragon.
)I loved to materialize this very personal project of giving existence to the night fury stuffed animal, well known as chimuelo. There he accompanies me while I create a new stuffed animal.

)I took the dedication to cut on paper all the pieces that I have to cut on the fabric, including their double pieces, that's what I mean by all. What luck, it gives me the fabric to make 2 stuffed animals! It was worth the effort. It was more dedication but it helped me to see how much I could take advantage of the amount of material I had on hand.

)Part of this new model is paying more attention to the little details. You know, looking as meticulously at what I want this iconic dragon to be.
)What did I want to change from my old model?
To have more scales, starting with its head, and to have a sequence of triangles on its back that decrease in size until it ends at the tail.
That its claws were 4 and not 3. At the same time give it a more striking view.
)This model is a little smaller than the stuffed animal that accompanies me in the photos. So I also had to adjust the size of the model eye... That's how it all started, in drawing, so many years as a child watching my mom making patterns and practicing different models allowed me to acquire the knowledge. Of course, practice never fails.
)Each stuffed animal takes me an average of 1 or 2 weeks to make. Really, when I start, I look inside myself for the drive to finish. All the plush is hand sewn, as is the embroidery on the eyes.
)I like to wear my embroidered shirt when doing embroidery or sewing. It gives me encouragement 💪🏻. It's as if my past self is motivating me with the demonstration of the materialized.
)It looks adorable even without its legs. But now it's time to bake them.
)Whenever I give her an advance, I try to do it in the daytime, since I have known since I was very young that it is not good to strain my eyes when sewing on black material. And even in the daytime, it is important to take a break to avoid straining my eyes.
It is rewarding to see the end result of all the effort. I am very happy to be able to do this and to be able to share it with all of you who were interested in seeing this project.
