Reaching the Dolphin status as my goal by the end of the year, I have to change my strategy for growing my account. I realized this after accepting the fact that one cannot rely on community upvotes to grow your account. Of course, we are grateful for community support. However, if that is the only strategy you have, I think the growth of your account will take longer time than you expect.
Holders of small Hive accounts such as Plankton and Minnows should try something that works for you. For small account holders who have been on Hive for quite some time, I hope you realize by now that the platform is offering other ways to increase your Hive account. Content creation and curation could be the primary means and they work really well for those who already have an established reputation on the network. But for those struggling to gain community attention, I think better try other ways to grow your Hive account, and one of them is by investing in Hive Engine tokens.
My Stakes in $SPORTS and $CENT
Seven days already passed since publishing my last long post about the accomplishment of my 50 million $SPORTS and 100,000 $CENT goals. Since then, I have been monitoring the SWAP. HIVE I am earning from these two Hive Engine tokens. For this purpose, I made the seven-days chart below:

Though the total amount of my stakes in $SPORTS is more than twice the size of my stakes in $CENT, as you can see the yield in the latter is higher due to the big difference in their market price. My stakes in $SPORTS are more of looking forward to a price appreciation in the future rather than the yield from staking rewards. Though the idea of earning rewards from creating and curating sports-related content is still not popular, I believe that such an expectation once realized would give a very promising yield.
Powering Up $HIVE
And so what did I do to the 5.2998 $HIVE I got from both $SPORTS and $CENT? In addition to $HIVE I got from other Hive Engine tokens like $LEO, $LOLZ, and $BEE, I have been powering them up daily since 19 February. This to me is a better way to grow my Hive account rather than relying on the unpredictability of community upvotes.
I am just on my seventh day monitoring $SPORTS and $CENT. As I said on LeoThreads, though the amount of $HIVE I am powering up daily is small, I find it exciting for it is a new experience for me to power up $HIVE without buying the token from the market, and instead, they come from the yield I got from Hive Engine tokens. I am glad that after two and a half years, Hive Engine tokens like $SPORTS and $CENT are now helping me to grow my account. My purchase of $HIVE twice a month will contribute all the more toward the accomplishment of my Dolphin goal by the end of 2024.
