Exploring Personal Growth and Community Engagement through Hive Learners' Feature Edition

The feature post prompt of the Hive Learners community has been an amazing addition to the Hive blockchain and has brought about positive improvements for many authors on Hive. This improvement goes beyond being a great author; it also involves becoming a better person and overcoming challenges. All this is made possible because of the lifestyle and personal improvement nature of the topics, so reading the life experiences of others and how they scale through can go on to improve those of others, and today I'll love to reminisce on how the past 100 features prompt has impacted me.

Like I said, the feature editing of the Hive Learners community has been an avenue for me to learn many things that span across different spheres of life, from skills acquisition to dealing with situations and overcoming challenges, and an avenue to come out of my shell to try out new things. Overall, I'm grateful for the platform, and I'll love to take some ground regarding this.

Even though I'm thrilled by the fact that the feature edition has run consistently till it's now 100, I couldn't participate in this 100-week first edition that came up on Monday and Tuesday because I've been down with illness, and even though that hasn't changed, I decided to just force myself to pen something down on this, so without further ado, let's get to the details.

Through the feature edition of the Hive Learners community, I've come to know a lot more about different people than I would have known on a normal day. For instance, I've never been to Pakistan, Ghana, or Brazil, but due to the feature edition of this community, I've come to learn and know so much about these countries and some places there, as well as make friends with people from those parts of the world.

Another avenue where I get to learn via this feature edition is from the content of some individuals. The likes of Inisha is a wonderful author who, via her content, dishes out wisdom on a daily basis, and via his content, I've learned some financial lessons. I also learned from the way I write to improve mine. This and many more are ways I've learned from the feature prompt.

Talking about my achievements on the hive blockchain, I won't say I've got a job much, but I'm grateful for where I'm and the support that has brought me this far. There are people with whom we came onboard around the same time who are far ahead, and there are also some who are still lacking. So in a nutshell, I'm grateful for how far I've come, the hive power I've got, the connections, the hive engine investment, and basically the few achievements I've got, and I'm proud of them and look forward to achieving more.

Talking about mistakes I made on the hive blockchain, there are a few of them, and I guess one of them was when I just came onboard as a newbie and learned little or nothing about hive. Around that time, I published a particular post and forgot to select a community, so in order to put it in the right community, I simply copied it and republished the post. I guess this gained the attention of HW, who invited me to their discord channel, and after guiding me through, I learned that this isn't allowed, and once a post is published, it's best left as it's or edited, but republished.

Another mistake I made would be about the use of tags. I can remember during my early days on Hive when I wrote about my craft and financial matters. I tend not to be noticed by the leofinance community that curates such content, even though they curate those that surround me most. After thorough research, I realized I wasn't using the right tag or misspelling their tag, and this cost me a lot. But after realizing my mistake, things improved, and I was noticed by them more often.

Talking about misconceptions I had, I can't really place my hand on much, or should I say I don't feel comfortable saying it here, but one of the most obvious of them, which also happens to relate to the hive learners community, was way back when the feature edition prompt was introduced. I was a newbie and exploring hive to learn how to improve on myself, and then I came across the hive learners community. The name alone makes me feel like I've found a place to learn and improve, but that wasn't where I met.

Opening the community and checking through the content, I was unable to find any helpful tips or posts that talk about how to improve on hives; instead, most of what I saw were introduction posts by some Pakistani citizens introducing themselves to the hive learners community, and this made me have the misconception that the community is mainly set up to teach Pakistani people about hives.

But not long after that, I joined the newbies initiative, and I guess around that time the community was also building their structure and began the feature edition prompt, which made me understand that what was happening then was a glimpse of what we have now, but as we can see then, most people who wrote those intros then are usually downvote for the thought that they intentionally wrote another introduction post, and I think thats what brings about verification on Discord.

That's about it for now. Thanks so much for your time, and have a wonderful night's rest.
