~This is her playing with her gift, the hoop light was powered by a rechargeable battery._
Today the power went out as usual, in Venezuela blackouts happen at any time of the day without prior notice, I did not want to complain but I felt the bitter taste in my mouth and the complaint in my mind because I had activities to do and these were not possible without electricity,
It was then when my niece wanted to visit my aunt who had promised her a gift, we took the opportunity to go to her house, it was getting dark and I took this picture of this moon that looks very nice, just look, after my niece received her gift we arrived home, we had dinner and it was very hot, as my mind does not like relaxation I started to review how many books I had downloaded without finishing reading, and I remembered one I had started some time ago called "Justine or the misfortunes of virtue" novel by the Marquis de Sade, I left it in the middle, because I wanted to start it again and read it in detail and not so fleeting, here I show a capture of the first part, which left me reflecting, because this sentence had relevance in 1791 as it still has today: "full of respect for our social conventions.... it happens even so, that we only find brambles when the wicked only gather roses". Then the bitter taste returned to my mouth and the idea came to my mind: "now the tyrant, without a doubt, enjoys electricity, while we complain without it....This has nothing to do with electricity anymore, this has become personal," I thought.
I don't promote the fact of abandoning our virtue, only that this left me reflecting, if I had to be a tyrant to have privileges in life, would I be able to discard the human values that have been instilled in me?, (I know I wouldn't, but many do), the advantages and shortcuts in life often have a dark path, I'm clear that no material value will be greater than human integrity, but how much of life does it cost us to be upright?
