Hello friends of this beautiful community Ladies of Hive, once again I am with you encouraged to participate in the weekly initiative that this time our friend @ifarmgirl makes us reflect through two questions:
Question 1. Some people are happier when it rains, others' moods tend to shift and they become blue (sad or down). How do you usually feel on rainy days and what are your favorite things to do?
I live in a tropical country where almost every day is very sunny so the sun is a vital part of our lives. When we don't have the sun shining we miss it, even though the sun hits us very hard and the warmth we feel is immense.
Cloudy days for me are very sad and I don't like to leave the house. The feeling is as if I lack the energy to walk and do my daily activities.
Coincidentally today is one of those rainy days because hurricane Helene is passing close by, it is forecast to rain all day today and tomorrow as well.
The beginning of the morning was with a very fine drizzle and when I got up and looked out the window a very beautiful rainbow was greeting me, I ran to get my cell phone to take a picture and as soon as I could capture it, it disappeared.
However, it was like a greeting to give me energy and it did. Minutes later the morning turned very gray.

Hola amigos de esta hermosa comunidad Ladies of Hive, otra vez estoy junto a ustedes animada a participar en la iniciativa semanal que en esta ocasión nuestra amiga @ifarmgirl nos hace reflexionar a través de dos preguntas:
1ra pregunta. Algunas personas son más felices cuando llueve, el humor de otras tiende a cambiar y se vuelven azules (tristes o decaídas). ¿Cómo te sueles sentir los días de lluvia y qué es lo que más te gusta hacer?
Vivo en un país tropical donde casi todos los días son muy soleados por lo que el Sol es parte vital de nuestras vidas. Cuando no tenemos el Sol radiante lo extrañamos, a pesar de que el Sol nos da muy fuerte y el calor que sentimos es inmenso.
Los días nublados para mí son muy tristes y no me gusta salir de casa. La sensación es como si me faltara energía para caminar y hacer las actividades cotidianas.
Casualmente hoy es uno de esos días lluviosos porque está pasando cerca el huracán Helene, se prevé que llueva hoy todo el día y mañana también. El inicio de la mañana fue con una llovizna muy fina y al levantarme y mirar por la ventana me estaba saludando un arcoíris muy hermoso, fui corriendo a buscar el celular para tomar la foto y apenas lo pude captar, enseguida desapareció.
Sin embargo, fue como un saludo para darme energías y lo hizo. Minutos después la mañana se tornó muy gris.
I needed to get food supplies for the next few days because we were expecting the weather to get worse and the rain to get heavier. I quickly prepared breakfast for my mom and I, and set out with an umbrella because there were no strong winds yet.
I felt great, the weather was very cool, it was drizzling in spurts, but it was light rain, I was able to go to the market and buy what I needed. This time I enjoyed my outing without the sun.
Generally, what I like to do on rainy days is to stay at home, prepare an chicken broth with vegetables to lift my spirits, ahh and strong coffee I cannot miss.
Yo necesitaba buscar provisiones de alimentos para estos días porque esperamos que el tiempo empeore y la lluvia se torne más fuerte. Rápidamente preparé el desayuno para mi mama y yo, y me dispuse a salir con un paraguas porque no había vientos fuertes aún.
Me sentí muy bien, el tiempo estaba muy fresco, estaba lloviznando por rachas, pero era suave la lluvia, pude ir al mercado y comprar lo que necesitaba. Esta vez disfruté de mi salida sin el Sol.
Generalmente lo que me gusta hacer los días lluviosos es quedarme en casa, preparar un caldo de pollo con vegetales para que me levanten el ánimo, ahh y el café bien fuerte no me puede faltar.
I returned home just when the weather was getting worse, it started to rain very hard but it was already safe under my roof. And I began to prepare my soup for the afternoon.
Regresé a casa cuando justo empeoraba el clima, comenzó a llover bien fuerte pero ya estaba segura bajo mi techo. Y comencé a preparar mi sopa para la tarde.
Question 2. A husband told his wife that he wishes her to say "okay" and "yes" to whatever he says to avoid further discussions or arguments. What would you do if you were in her shoes? Would you agree and nod to everything even when it is against your will or feelings? Please share your thoughts.
I have lived and been educated in a society where equal rights between women and men are defended. I cannot conceive the idea that my husband would indicate and force me to agree with everything he says, it goes against my principles.
Following this example, if that happened I would not admit it because I have the right to say what I think, to give my point of view and my opinion on any subject.
I know that there are countries that educate women to be submissive and since they are born they receive that education. I do not agree with that because that is to lose one's identity, it is to completely annul oneself as a human being, it is to repress one's desires and needs to satisfy those of one's husband and that is not fair. They become unhappy people with no opinion or will of their own.

2da pregunta. Un marido le ha dicho a su mujer que desea que ella diga "vale" y "sí" a todo lo que él diga para evitar discusiones o discusiones posteriores. ¿Qué harías tú si estuvieras en su lugar? ¿Aceptaría y asentiría a todo, aunque fuera en contra de su voluntad o sus sentimientos? Por favor, comparte tus pensamientos.
He vivido y me he educado en una sociedad donde se defiende la igualdad de derechos entre la mujer y el hombre. No puedo concebir la idea de que mi esposo me indique y obligue a estar de acuerdo en todo lo que él diga, va en contra de mis principios.
Siguiendo este ejemplo, si eso me sucediera no lo admitiría porque yo tengo el derecho a decir lo que pienso, a dar mi punto de vista y mi opinión sobre cualquier tema.
Sé que hay países que educan a las mujeres a ser sumisas y desde que nacen reciben esa educación. No estoy de acuerdo con eso porque eso es perder la identidad, es anularse completamente como ser humano, es reprimir los deseos y necesidades para satisfacer las del esposo y eso no es justo. Se convierten en personas infelices sin opinión ni voluntad propia.
