There is an abundance of rivers, streams, lakes, ponds and other bodies of water in Alberta. They often make a great forewground for landscape photos. The accompanying nature scenary often found near these rivers is a sight that never gets old. I find for photography hikes seeking out bodies of water is as great way to find appealing images or even encounter wildlife. Sometimes they are perfect for a break, if its not to wet sometimes a palce to sit and observe the sights and sounds of nature.
