One of the religious tourist attractions Jalan Asia-Africa batu or kilometers 14, Tanjungpinang City. Buddhist place of worship inside which there are many standing statues tourist imported from China.
This religious tourist spot is called the status of a thousand because there are so many statues, the face of the status is Made of stone. Below the status is written the name of the big family or heir who owned the status.
There are many statues faces but the faces are not Made the same and the clothes are different. Buddhist places of worship were opened to the public in 2017. This place was built in 2014, before it was opened to the public, the Buddhist place of worship was only visited by certain people.
The status is Made of granite imported from China, to make it easier to send the status to the city of Tanjungpinang because the distance is quite far. The status was cut into pieces, then once at ITS destination, the statue was assembled back into one piece.
The counter is open every day starting at 7.30 am and closed at 5 pm, with tickets priced at 5000,-($0.3) for local tourist, for foreign tourist ticket 30.000,- IDR ($1,7).
The location of the statue are is at the top a hill, with natural views, in the front yard there are many tall, round pillars, ornaments and carvings have meanings and symbols of the beliefs they make.
