Hi everyone. I hope that you all are fine. I am doing well. I am trying to find solace in this routine.

Today, when I was reading a book called The Fallen Leaves by Will Durant, my father called me and told me to go towards the construction site of our shops. We have recently bought a plot in the rural part of the city and my father has planned to build 4 shops there. We will rent out these shops to needy people as there are very less shops in this part of the city.

This is such a beautiful and it covers a diverse range of different topics. I love how Will Durant expresses his thoughts with subtle articulation.

I went on feet because I was feeling lazy. I wanted to feel active. Also, I wanted to explore more of this area. I used to go there as a kid as this was the pathway. I have not gone there for around 10 years now since we shifted.

I saw that the infrastructure of homes is still very simple. People are also very simple. It was a walk of around around 20 minutes. It was a rather peaceful one because there was no rush behind it. On the way, I saw children running in the fields and there was a little space for playful activities too.

I find it amazing how children find happiness in little things and we adults fail to be happy to the fullest even in biggest of achievements. I saw kids being happy and it made me smile. Perhaps this was something that I needed today. I had been feeling a little low, I feel a lot better now.

When I got there, the workers were waiting for me. I told them about the dimensions of the different shops and provided them with the construction material. It was not far from the main road. The workers are from this colony this is why I was more comfortable around them. They were simple and kind and hardworking.

This is just the basic structure of the base of the shops plaza. It took two days to build this much. The workers work manually here as they cannot afford those costly machines. I will update you all about how the shops end up looking. I am sure that the workers and my father would bring out something beautiful and strong from scratch. This is all from the #wednesdaywalk of today. I hope that you enjoyed this and the scenery from the photos.

Thank you for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your thoughts and feelings in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do not forget to follow my account for more such content. Take care and Have a great day ahead.
