I am a faithful admirer of television programs that tell cases based on real life like La Rosa de Guadalupe, Lo que callamos las mujeres and others, that some say that they are not based on reality, but if they do it is in case it can happen, then they teach us to see the signs when they appear and thus not to let things happen.
There are cases in which the children deny their parents, their origins, their condition of life and more, I do not think it is the parents, because the parents from the beginning form the children with all the love, they give them what they can give, I think they see that in other friends, or that they get carried away by what friends say, that are not real friends.
Nor is it their fault that if they are raised only by the mother, because the dad left home.
From my personal experience, my father left home when I was 6 years old, now I am 21 years old, I have a brother with autism, and my mother is the one who has taken us forward, with efforts, with jobs, always giving us what I consider best for us.
We have not been in extreme need, she has always given us what she knew was necessary, useful, she gave us a treat like going for ice cream, going to the movies, celebrating our birthdays, once in a while more than another, some details.
He taught us the value of everything, the importance, not when you want it but when you can, that everything comes, but that we must also look for it, have patience. I have never denied what I am or what I have, my mother is an exemplary woman, she is like a role model, of course she would not be the same, but she is a good reference.
In college I have gone through difficult situations that sometimes I have thought about leaving, but she has not left me, she is my support, to accompany me in the long nights of studies, because I have seen other friends who say that their moms do not encourage her, despite being almost an adult, my mom is retired, she still wakes up in the mornings when I have classes to make me breakfast, to go with me to the bus stop.
As my mother is, there are others, it is true, but they receive scorn from their children, they are ashamed of them, but as my mother said, here everything is paid, the injustices, the grudges, they will be parents someday and they will receive the same.
Love your parents very much, as they are, those who can give you, value everything in life, not after they are gone.
