I am a fan of hip-hop and I remember songs from the Wu-Tang Clan such as Gravel Pit, and the voice of Ghostface Killah is unmistakable.
Now, Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah announced that he will launch an Ordinal mint.
According to his X post "GHOSTFACE KILLAH x RARE SCRILLA DROP", the drop will happen on April 11th 2024.
What are Ordinals?
Ordinals are means of creating Bitcoin NFTs by attaching data such as images, videos, and more to an individual satoshi on the base Bitcoin blockchain. Launched on Bitcoin mainnet by developer Casey Rodarmor on January 20, 2023, ordinal NFTs are simply the latest way to create NFTs on Bitcoin.

In the retweet above Bitcoin Magazine advertises the fact that the music has been inscribed on Ordinals and that the songs "will live on #Bitcoin for all eternity"
What's interesting to me is the fact that the NFT market on the ethereum blockchain exploded before Bitcoin NFTs were possible.
Glossary:
BRC-20: a fungible token standard on the Bitcoin network that allows users to create, mint and transfer fungible tokens.
Runes: a new fungible token standard on the Bitcoin network intended to be a more efficient standard compared to BRC-20, that allows users to create, mint and transfer fungible tokens.
