As Indonesians, you must be familiar with football market snacks like this. Well, usually known as aci, aci itself is usually prepared with a mixture of chicken or plain meat. Interestingly, there are many types of snacks like this with various sauce variants and preparation techniques. Of the many types of snacks, I rarely find vegan ones. Even if it is vegan, the taste will definitely not be as good as its external appearance. Moreover, the food that is bought nowadays contains a lot of preservatives and other instant flavoring ingredients.

To avoid that, I want to prepare my nephew one of these delicious gifts of wood ear mushroom balls as their favorite snack later at home. They really enjoy enjoying food like this.

So, here I will invite you to prepare several techniques for making this delicious dish!

Tara ear mushroom balls are ready to be served, to make them more attractive I skewer the mushroom balls on a stick, then drizzle with the sauce you like, be it tomato or chili sauce. The chewy, savory taste with a distinctive aroma like aci in general is very pronounced. In fact, interestingly, I like the aroma of celery leaves which blend perfectly in the dough balls.
