De la mano de Scott Derickson y los productores de joyas del terror como Insidiuos llega Siniestro calificada como una de las mejores producciones de horror del año 2012 y créanme que este título , le queda pequeño.
Las fuerzas mas siniestras que te puedas imaginar, darán vida a una historia escalofriante y cruda donde nada es lo que parece tomando el concepto de asesino en serie pero a otro nivel mas mortífero.

The most sinister forces you can imagine will bring to life a chilling and raw story where nothing is as it seems, taking the concept of a serial killer to a more deadly level.
Siniestro , nos cuenta la historia de un escritor que, tras una fachada de justicia y visibilización de las víctimas, se muda a diferentes partes del país donde ocurrieron cerca , crímenes para así, convertir esas historias en libros pero un día, lleva su pasión al extremo mudándose junto a su familia, a la casa donde el crimen en si, sucedió, un crimen atroz que lo obsesionará e irá descubriendo algo fuera de su comprensión.
Con esta premisa parte este peliculón que mezcla el género paranormal con asesino en serie y demonios. Una mezcla bien hecha que dió como resultado una obra maestra del horror que te dejara con una sensación extraña y pavor en la piel.
Sinister tells the story of a writer who, behind a facade of justice and visibility for the victims, moves to different parts of the country where nearby crimes occurred, in order to turn those stories into books. However, one day he takes his passion to the extreme by moving with his family to the house where the crime itself happened, a heinous crime that will obsess him as he discovers something beyond his comprehension.
With this premise, this great film begins that blends the paranormal genre with serial killers and demons. A well-crafted mix that resulted in a horror masterpiece that will leave you with a strange sensation and terror on your skin.
Una historia muy bien lograda y perfectamente hilada a todos los sucesos sin perder el sentido de la trama principal, es mas, todo tiene sentido a medida que avanza la trama culminando en un final sorprendente que no te esperas (Amo los factores sorpresa que le dan sentido a todo lo que viste).
Las pasiones a veces, te llevan al extremo de perder la noción de la realidad llevando así, a arrastrar a quienes amas contigo. Un juego perfecto entre lo que se desea y lo que se ama poniendo por encima lo que se desea culminando en algo completamente terrorífico para nuestros protagonistas. La casa donde murió gente de forma horrible, nunca es buen lugar para mudarse.
A very well-crafted story that is perfectly woven together with all the events without losing the sense of the main plot. Everything makes sense as the plot progresses, culminating in a surprising ending that you don't expect (I love the surprise factors that make sense of everything you saw).
Passions sometimes lead you to the extreme of losing touch with reality, thus dragging those you love with you. A perfect game between what is desired and what is loved, prioritizing desire and culminating in something completely terrifying for our protagonists. The house where people died in a horrific way is never a good place to move into.

Antes que se me olvide, la película tambien utiliza el formato de Metraje encontrado lo cual, sirve de apoyo para darle forma a todo e ir atando los cabos sueltos. Un recurso muy bien usado que recuerda a los clásicos.
Si bien, llega un momento que se vuelve repetitiva y hay cosas que podrían quitarse ya que no aporta mas que repetición innecesaria, no deja de ser espectacularmente aterradora. Le doy un 9/10 ¡Completamente siniestra!
Before I forget, the movie also uses the found footage format which serves as support to shape everything and tie up loose ends. A very well-used resource that is reminiscent of the classics.
However, there comes a point where it becomes repetitive and there are things that could be removed as they do not contribute more than unnecessary repetition, yet it remains spectacularly terrifying. I give it a 9/10 Completely sinister!
