Llegamos al décimo día de reto de dibujo y bueno puedo decirte que he sobrevivido a este ritmo agotador, aunque lo disfruto no deja de ser duro y vamos a ver de una vez por todas el dibujo.
We reached the tenth day of the drawing challenge and well I can tell you that I have survived this exhausting pace, although I enjoy it, it is still hard and let's see once and for all the drawing.

La práctica hace al maestro esa es una frase que he escuchado mucho a lo largo de mi vida y que aunque entienda su significado, cuesta un mundo ponerla en practica. Sin embargo, gracias a este reto autoimpuesto (nadie me mando a torturarme de esta manera) he logado ser más constante en lo que se refiere a dibujar a diario y realmente ejecutar mis conocimientos en las artes.
Practice makes perfect is a phrase that I have heard a lot throughout my life and although I understand its meaning, it's hard to put it into practice. However, thanks to this self-imposed challenge (no one told me to torture myself this way) I have managed to be more consistent when it comes to drawing on a daily basis and really execute my knowledge in the arts.
Y no solo en las artes puedo ver el resultado de este ejercicio de dibujo, también me sorprende ver la fluidez y confianza con la que puedo escribirte y echarte el cuento de mi drama con este reto.
And not only in the arts I can see the result of this drawing exercise, I am also surprised to see the fluency and confidence with which I can write to you and tell you the story of my drama with this challenge.
Entonces para ponerme manos a la obra aproveché que me traje a la casa unas frutas de plástico que usamos en clases, agarre mis creyones y comencé a dar color. Lo primero fue hacer el boceto, de hecho lo hice directo con el óleo pastel.
So to get down to work I took advantage of the plastic fruits that we used in class, took my crayons and began to color. The first thing was to make the sketch, in fact I did it directly with the oil pastel.
Lo importante aquí es observar muy bien los colores que están presentes en los objetos, así comencé con las uvas. Estas son verdes y al mismo tiempo tienen un color rojo y también un ocre y si, agarre todos esos colores y los mezclé para dar forma a cada circulito.
The important thing here is to observe very well the colors that are present in the objects, so I started with the grapes. These are green and at the same time they have a red color and also an ochre color and yes, I took all those colors and mixed them to give shape to each circle.
Para definir mejor las formas usé un verde más oscuro mezclado con su color complementario que es... bueno espero que sepas la respuesta.
To better define the shapes I used a darker green mixed with its complementary color which is.... well I hope you know the answer.
Y así pase a colorear la manzana, comenzando con los tonos mas claros use un amarillo pastel con uno ocre, pues esta fruta no es super roja.
And so I went on to color the apple, starting with the lighter tones I used a pastel yellow with an ocher one, because this fruit is not super red.
Entonces lo que siguió fue agregar naranjas y rojos en varias tonalidades para dar generar esa sensación de volumen.
Then what followed was the addition of oranges and reds in various shades to give that sense of volume.
Luego con un marrón intenso le hice unos detalles a la manzana para darle más profundidad, ah y también le agregue un toque de verde por aquí y por allá.
Then with an intense brown I did some details to the apple to give it more depth, oh and I also added a touch of green here and there.
Ahora me tome unos minutos para pensar de que color haría el fondo y me pregunte que colores no había usado todavía en lo que llevaba de dibujo, la respuesta más obvia era el azul ¿pero que tono de azul? opte por elegir el más claro pues me parecía que combinaba mejor con el resto.
Now I took a few minutes to think about what color I would use for the background and I asked myself what colors I hadn't used so far in my drawing, the most obvious answer was blue, but what shade of blue? I chose the lightest one because it seemed to me that it combined better with the rest.
Para lo demás si usé un rosa que me contrastaba muy bien con el verde amarillento de las uvas.
For the rest I used a pink that contrasted very well with the yellowish green of the grapes.
Por ultimo si fue hacer las sombras del entorno con tonos más oscuros y listo. Amo el resultado con estos óleos que son bien cremosos, en algún punto intente mezclarlos con otros que tengo pero las texturas no son las mismas por lo que termine trabajando solo con los Pointer.
The last thing I did was to make the shadows of the environment with darker tones and that was it. I love the result with these oils that are very creamy, at some point I tried to mix them with others that I have but the textures are not the same so I ended up working only with the Pointer.
Aunque esto de practicar no es tan fácil como se piensa porque se necesita de voluntad, perseverancia y mucha constancia para ver los resultados de ese progreso hay que seguir intentándolo, así que pongamos manos a la obra y a seguir dibujando.
