Hace poco menos de un mes, en el horario de la tarde una amiga y yo veníamos de regreso a casa después de salir del trabajo, y justo, cuando pasabamos por el lado de un tanque plástico de basura oímos el triste y débil maullido de un gatico que evidentemente se encontraba dentro del basurero haciendo un esfuerzo enorme por ser escuchado (por su mamá, supongo 😔), y luchando desesperadamente por su vida a una temperatura mayor de los 37 grados celcius.La suerte fue que la tapa del tanque estaba abierta.
Cuca, una gatita tricolor y de pelos largos felizmente sobrevivió ese día, su rescate estuvo acompañado de varios forcejeos para que no nos arañara, y a pesar de sus quejidos estaba fuerte pero muy asustada, entre algunos paños que logramos reunir y hablándole con mucha dulzura logramos sacarla toda sucia y enojona.Nos dió después de todo mucha gracia, pues en cuanto la sacamos del basurero ella estaba tan dócil, tranquila, y mimosa que no parecía cierto que estuviere unos minutos atrás luchando contra nosotras.

Mi amiga enseguida quiso quedarsela, además la química entre ellas fue más fuerte, y para mí, era muy incierto adaptarla a convivir con mi Chloe, perdón, al revés, mi Chloe con ella, esa nena es extrañamente posesiva y controladora para con los de su especie sobre mí, aunque a los gatos los respeta.

No hubo forma de firmar un pacto o tratado de paz, en cuanto se olieron el rechazo fue totalmente mutuo y aunque mi nena después se relajó, a Cuca nadie pudo convencerla de lo contrario.Mantuvo su posición con mucho orgullo y aunque Chloe no le hizo la guerra, Cuca solo rezongó por que se mantuviera lejos.

Lamento mucho que aún hayan personas que tengan el valor impune de votar crías de gatos y perros en una jaba y echarlos a un basurero, o a un río, no sé qué es peor..perdón: sí sé qué es peor: La maldad humana.
En el orden de las cosas importantes de la vida, el hombre debe acabar de entender que debemos convivir con todas las otras especies, de una manera pacífica y sostenible, solo que supuestamente la conciencia es nuestra principal fortaleza y si no hacemos uso de ella, ¿de qué nos vale ser los seres más evolucionados sobre la faz de la tierra?
