We recently lost Ratan Tata, one of the industrial legends in India. He may be gone, but his products are everywhere. From Salt to Cars, Tata products are everywhere, and they are also able to give quality products to the consumers. Sometimes, they are also able to give affordable products to the consumers, considering the fact that every individual deserves the best.
One thing that I admired about Ratan Tata is that he mentioned that today even a 20 year old can come up with ideas and get it funded through Venture capitalists and become a great businessman. During the olden days experience was the most important thing but today experience may be required in execution but it is not a factor to become a businessman or to start a business.
Philanthropy is his best contribution
After Ratan Tata took over the Tata Group, he improved the business a lot and many ideas came into existance. Apart from developing the business the company's focus was in developing the society. Starting from eduction to healthcare the contributions from Tata groups had always been the amazing thing. He has contributed more than 65 percent of his income to charity.
Apart from doing charity works, he has also invested in many start up companies and have been one of the biggest reasons for the start ups to grow and become successful. Many people feared to come up with cheaper options for cars and Tata groups did it. They were able to make the cheapest car in the world but it was supposed to be the most affordable car in the world.
The Philanthropy work that he did was not directly from his account and that's one of the reasons why his name never came in the reports of top Philanthropists in the world. Today Tata groups have said that the company will continue to do the Phylantrhophy work that was started by Ratan Tata himself.
Admiring Tata Products
I'm very proud to use Tata products. For some reason, I have a soft corner for Tata and his products. The main reason is that they make quality products and at the same time try to make things affordable for everyone. They don't compromise on the quality. Several YouTube videos are showing how Tata cars withstand collisions compared to several other cars. Some cars that hit on road also withstand accidents compared to other cars. Safety is a big YES for Tata products.
Tata is one of the top contributors to the Indian Economy. Only after he is gone, many people are talking about him. Ambani and Adani are all recent businesses but back then Tata and Birla was the best businessman and the previous generation recognied them very well. I own a Tata Nexon car and I admire it the most. I was targetting for an EV version of Tata Nexon but then one of my friends wanted to sell his card and I bought it from him.
