A week has now passed since the launch of the new Splinterlands rewards system, which definitively replaced the daily and end-of-season chests. For each victory, in addition to the $SPS obtained as prizes, each player will obtain a certain amount of GLINT points, essentially dependent on the quantity of tokens being staked, the reference league, the choice of Modern or Wild games, the power of the guild to which you belong.
All these factors will guarantee a reward in GLINT tokens which can be used in the dedicated Shop and purchase DRAFT, potions, MERITS or rare titles. My main goal is to obtain one of the Rare titles, limited in number and quantity available. I tried to buy and open the best Draft on the market at a cost of 5k GLINT but, despite the use of potions, the result was not satisfactory, only common cards and one rare.
This confirmed my medium-term goal, which is to continue accumulating GLINT and wait for any changes from the team on the rewards system, I'm sure that the feedback from the community will convince the guys to change some things. An important change happened during the last update... Now you will probably see less GLINT than before, and this is because it was decided to avoid assigning GLINT based on rating but instead assigning double the tokens obtained for each victory.
If you are competitive with the card you have and continue to invest in SPS, then you will see your score growing more and more and more GLINT will come into your wallet. Make the game more competitive, fun and incentivize players to invest to earn more. This is the big gamble of Splinterlands, #playtoearn is a correct term except that the player continues to acquire assets, it is fundamental to the economy of the team and our system.
