IT'S an incredible organ that plays a vital role in or bodies. The heart is responsible for pumping blood throughout the circulatory system, delivering oxygen and nutrients to all the cells in our body.
Did you know that the average adult heart beats around 60 to 100 times per minute? That is a lot of work!Taking care of our heart health is crucial for overall well being. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and managing stress are some ways to keep our heart happy and healthy.

The heart is roughly the size of a closed fist and is located slightly to the left a protective sa called the pericardium. The heart is divided into four chambers are separated by values that help maintain the flow of blood in the correct direction.
........ The hearts primary function is to circulate blood throughout the body. It does this through a series of coordinated contrations and relaxations, known as the right atrium, than into the right ventricles and it is pumped to the lungs to pick up oxygen.
The heart itself needs a constant supply of oxygen and nutrients to function properly. Maintaining a healthy heart is crucial for overall well being. Regular exercise, a balanced diet and managing stress are important factors in promoting heart health. Human heart functions as a double pump, and is responsible for pulmonary and systemic circulation. Complete separation of deoxygenated blood and ocygenated blood in the heart is maintained.
The heart contracts automatically with rhythmicity, under the control of the autonomic nervous system of the body. The wall of the heart is composed of three layers. Epicardium, myocardium, endocardium. Mycardium of the heart is made up of special type of muscles, the cardiac muscles. These muscles contain myofrbrils, and myofilaments of myosin and actin. Their arrangement is similar to those in skeletal muscle fibers, and their mechanism of contraction is essentially the same, except that they are branched cells, in which the automatically with rhythmicity by junctions called intercalated discs.
The heart pumps blood through a series of contractions called heart beats. It has four chambers:two atria and two ventricles. When the heart beats, the atria contract and push blood into the ventricles. Then, the ventricles contract and pump the blood out to the rest of the body. It's a rhythmic process that keeps our blood flowing!
The heart receives oxygen and nutrients through its own blood supply called the coronary arteries. These arteries branch off from the main blood vessels and wrap around the heart, delivering the necessary oxygen and nutrients to keep the heart healthy and functioning property.
