5/365: Tipuloidea #monomad challenge

in voilk •  3 months ago

    Hi everybody.
This is Crane Fly (Tipuloidea). Based on the explanation on Wikipedia, the Crane Fly is a member of the dipteran superfamily Tipuloidea, which contains the surviving Cylindrotomidae, Limoniidae, Pediciidae, and Tipulidae families, as well as several extinct families.
I found this Crane Fly near my motorbike. This crane fly is in its nest which is like a spider's web. I first thought it was a spider, apparently Google Lens thought differently.

I photographed this Crane Fly using a Samsung Galaxy A55 camera with macro mode to take part in the #monomad challenge organized by @monochromes with a black and white theme.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my post.

    Warm regards @mxulxdxn
